Morgan starred alongside other actors in the film that provides information Safe Sex for Men and Women focused on AIDS prevention as well as education. Morgan donated a portion of her earnings towards the American Foundation for AIDS Research. She's a part of the Entertainment Industry AIDS Task Force. Morgan was the primary driver behind numerous fund-raising efforts for this disease. She also spoke before the Congressional special committee on AIDS education. Morgan is also a member of the Board of Directors for Amfar and on the Board of Governors of APLA. C. Everett Koop asked her several times to assume his spot in AIDS activities. In addition, she hosted a AIDS Awareness Special alongside anchorman Steve Bell. She has appeared twice on Nightline with Ted Koppell regarding AIDS. Morgan was awarded an Emmy Award for Diane English's special Murphy Brown episode that was made specifically for Morgan. In the spring she co-starred alongside Joan Rivers in ABC television's Your Money or Your Wife. Her summer started with Murder At The PTA Luncheon that was created by Von Zerneck/Sertner and also starred Cindy Williams and Marla Gibbs. Her next film took her to Luxembourg, where she starred as Sherlock Holmes and the Leading Lady in Harmony Gold's production. Christopher Lee and Patrick McNee were also on the set. Morgan also starred in the psychological thriller that was exclusively produced for the USA Network garnering one of the most impressive ratings in the network's history.
